Tropical Splendor:
What makes this halter-topped gown so striking is the contrast between the clean, uncluttered lines and the wild tropical print. The closest thing to frilly here is the heavily stoned swirl of lace around the plunging neckline. The dress hugs the body all the way down to mid-thigh, and then spreads wide into a big skirt that is two full circles around at the hemline. The gown is made entirely of Lycra stretch fabric printed with big purple flowers against a white background. It glimmers with 30 gross of Swarovski rhinestones in Fuchsia and Crystal AB. A pair of matching fingerless gloves are included..
This dress was worn by professional dancer Marie Burson, shown here dancing with her partner and husband, Chad Burson.
